Find locally brewed kombuchas from all over Upstate New York

Kombucha is pretty varied in its flavor profile. You can find this fermented, fizzy tea with subtle aromas, punchy bubbles, and even sour fruited flavors. In the recent years that kombucha has become popular, small batch brewers have been popping up all over New York State. You’ll find some by the bottle available in stores, some on tap in breweries, or even full kombucha tap-rooms dedicated to the craft.

Since it will likely be something you’re thinking as you run through this list, the task of dividing up New York into regions is nearly as complex as brewing a perfect glass of booch! Almost no one (even official state entities) has an agreed upon, official standard for separating the regions of the state. You will likely disagree with where some of the borders are drawn here. Try to remember the most important thing on this page is getting you connected with a great locally brewed kombucha.

A small tap in the shop allows customers an opportunity to taste their flavors like Palo Santo, Turmeric Ginger, and even a hops-infused kombucha. Hours at the shop are limited but bottles can be purchased in a bunch of locations in the area.

Even as one of the newer kombucha brewers in the Finger Lakes Region, this small Phelps-based business is quickly developing a following. Their line so far doesn’t have a huge offering, but the half-dozen or so flavors they’re brewing are ones they’ve spent a long time dialing in and getting right. Many of the kombuchas in this line feature fruit flavors like “Cherry Chop-It” and “Apple Crisp”.
